It replaces and outperforms traditional gun oils, CLP's, and dry lubes with the benefits of each and none of the issues. LPX contains a cleaning agent that repels dirt/dust and can be used to remove surface carbon in the field. It leaves a long-lasting film that repels dust/dirt and will not evaporate, making it excellent for "ready-to-fire" long term storage.
