The 92 Compact features a lightweight, forged aircraft-quality aluminum alloy frame and 4.25" chrome-lined barrel with a deeply recessed combat muzzle crown to protect the rifling. The open slide design virtually eliminates jamming and stove piping, and the chamber can be loaded one cartridge at a time. The attached disassembly latch simplifies field stripping.
